Maryland Has a Four Part Medicaid Program

The Medicaid program in Maryland is administered by the Maryland Department of Human Resources. Their website is very easy to navigate. Most of the information is on the same page and easy to scroll through. There is a main program, a CHIP, a Pharmacy Assistance Program, and a Buy-in Program. Maryland Launches Insurance Watch

The state of Maryland is doing something rather unique with health insurance. It has launched something called Insurance Watch. It will allow physicians to report abusive health insurance company practices. It will also help doctors to provide assistance to consumers who have had their legitimate claims denied. It is difficult to find an affordable health insurance policy that actually covers a reasonable amount of health care.
